I think it's a matter of personal taste. I enjoy the angry, power dunks over finese dunks so I went with Kelvin Cato.

There was a guy named Richard Evans who played in the early 2000s. I used to work at the rec, and he'd come in and do some of the sickest stuff. Like stand on the baseline, facing the backboard, then do a 180 two-hander.

While I'm thinking of it, Seneca could also throw down with authority. And Sage Rosenfels was a crazy athlete, too. At least in the rec.

The worst dunker in history is Kantrail Horton. I remember the game against KU in 2001 (we were like #8 in the country, KU was top five - we won) and Kantrail had a breakaway, could have just laid it up. But he went off two feet, arched the ball in his left hand, and got hung. Just completely didn't get high enough.

Cato and Fizer were just ANGRY at the rim... that's why I liked them. I voted for Cato.

Clark was a high flyer and was at ISU when I was so I got a special spot in my heart for them.

Mark Baugh was one of our better leapers of all time, but I would have to go with Rashon Clark. He was a blast to watch.

The duo of Baugh and Sam Mack could both throw down with authority.

I had the privilage of getting dunked on by Baugh at Beyer. Jumped as high as I could (I could get over the rim enough to throw a weak one down from time to time), hit him mid forearm and watched him stuff it right in my face.

Hoiberg doing the a la Dr. J- one handed style dunks on fast breaks was pretty sweet. Also his rebound/stuff over Acie Earl is personal my favorite dunk at Iowa State. By the way, any one have a photo or video of that dunk?

You people are giving too much emphasis to recent guys.

My favorite, Jeff Grayer. Hands down.

I couldn't find the clip, but his dunk in the Big8 tourney jumping over a guy is just sick.

Here are a few samples:

Evans was entertaining in pre-game with his one man dunk-contest, always looking at the student section for encouragement and ideas. However, that was where basically all of his dunks as a Cyclone were thrown down as he wasn't good enough to see many minutes:sad:
