If they could play the Sisters of the Poor, they would schedule them. Big Red dropped several decent teams for this season to schedule:

Western Kentucky- they were 0-12 last season
Idaho-picked last in the Big Sky conference
SDSU-what can I say, they are moving up, but no match
Washington-5-7 last year, 0-12 the previous season

The Cornhuskers are taking no chances with their non conference schedule. I'd take that schedule for Iowa State in a minute.

Nebbie will lose at Washington, mark it down. Washington may win the Pac 10 this season.

Washington had one of those night to day seasons last year. They were horrible in 2008, and were vastly improved in 2009, having some very close losses.

With Locker back and the way they have recruited Cal under this coach I wouldn't be shocked to see Washington win this game and if its a late night kick they may even be favored depending on their schedule before that

i see washington being better. but a pac 10 championship will be amazing. they were 0-12 two years ago. New coaching staff can really only overcome so much imo.

I think Washington will be pretty good, but it sure doesn't match our non-conference schedule.....

UNI>>Western Kentucky
Northern Illinois>>>Idaho
Utah>>>SDSU
Iowa>Washington

Our schedule is tough to beat.. that's for sure. And it's not a good sign.

Its time to put the big boy pants on and see what were made of. Enough of the sissy crap. We could win three outta four of those games. Flip Side we could lose three outta four, but at least we are willing to play teams.

The game that I would put money on is the Nebraska - Kansas State game. That has "trap-game" written all over it, as Nebraska hosts Texas the following week. If there's one game Nebraska has circled on their calendar it's the UT game.

Wrong on Nebraska...with the money they have, they change non conf schedules year to year. Money talks, and they buy wins. K State has done that in the past to get with W's.

Yes your right, Big schools (Schools with money) in the non conference can switch for the right price.
