I didn't catch her last name but "Barbara" called to assure me that all the BEAT STATE Promotional material had been removed - that it was put up without her knowledge over the week-end and that she was extremely dissapointed in her staff's decisions because it is HyVee's policy to be neutral on this game regardless of where it is located.

Hopefully those responsible have been sacked.

I just recently came back from my first and last visit ever to Cedar Rapids. The amount of Squawk homerism there pales only to the Iowa ******. It was sickening. On a happier note the groom was a Cyclone and we outnumbered the Squawks 2 to 1 and they really didn't know what to do with themselves.

Good to know. Although if the Blair's Ferry one had that much squawk stuff, I shudder to think about the amount of hawkeye propaganda at ghetto-vee over by Coe.

I was just in there yesterday and didn't notice anything up. I wonder if I was just being ignorant, of it had been taken down already.

What a triumphant victory over those scoundrels at Hy-Vee. How dare they patronize the majority of their consumer base in that area.

Is it better to patronize the majority or infuriate the minority? When the company line is that they are supposed to be impartial, I think you need to cut the Hawkism.
