ISU fans have to be among the most mercurial in college football. Some people just need to sit back, chill and realize this isn't some terrible awful loss that dooms the program.

This may sound crazy, but in Tiller's one incomplete pass he showed me that he is a better passer than Arnaud. That fade had something they like to call "touch". With Austin, it seems like every pass is a test of how hard he can throw the ball. The guy has absolutely no touch, and pure arm strength can only get you so far.

amen. been saying this for 2 years now.

Can I just say that Im sick of losing. Im tired of Iowa State football. I still love to watch, and I will be back cheering again next week. But Im sick of it. Im tired of cheering for a bunch of losers. Thats a rough comment, but its true. We lose. A lot.

I am starting to like Iowa more. They have a damn good program and do things the right way. They might be a little shady, but who gives a ****? The only people who think Iowa is full of criminals is Iowa State fans.

Iowa is a tough football team that plays old school. They compete with anyone and everyone in the country. Does ANYONE have ANYTHING they can tell Hawk fans when they are rubbing their successful Ferentz/Fry era smugness in our face?? We lose to them 85% of the time, and its been ugly. They beat us 15 years in a row and ALWAYS have a better season than we do.

On top of that, they are a fun team/program to watch. They don't take **** from anyone. They beat good teams and play EVERYONE tough. If Iowa state played a good team, we get ******* killed like little *******. Im sick of it. go hawks- beat arizona tonight.

For the past few weeks I have not been pro iowa state- because I was so embarrassed after the iowa game. I don't think i will recommend being an iowa state fan to anyone for a long time. This sucks and i don't wish this on anyone. This is a losing team and a losing program. And i will still feel like this tomorrow...

Dully noted. Don't bother posing as an Iowa State fan anymore.

I like Arnaud's command of the offense and his willingness to put the team on his shoulders - I think that may be what Rhoads was talking about at the beginning of the season when he said Arnaud was the the best option at QB for the team to win. I don't disagree that the talent at QB is sitting on the bench, but I hope Tiller/Capello/Barnett are paying attention to the way Arnaud talks in the huddle and drags 2, 3, or 4 d-linemen with him on a draw play.

The biggest question that I have as a fan is: is AA getting blamed for the Off. Coordinators calls, or is he simply not executing? If it's execution, then why isn't the next best option taking some snaps to prove that this offense works? It seems to me that Herman is killing time until his talent gets in to execute his offense - ISU can't continue to do that in the Big 12.

I saw 5 things today

1) AJ Klein is going to be one of my favorite Cyclones of all time

2) Jeremy Reeves is a better corner than Leonard Johnson---had he not been pushed off of on that pass play, I think he could have made a play on the ball...

3) We don't have the quarterback to be running Herman's offense

4) The defensive line is extremely poor and with the recruits being brought in (or not brought in) its not going to get better anytime soon

5) Way too many 2nd tier talent Iowa-born players on the field at one time

whats wrong with being a hawk fan? I didn't go to school there, but i have the right to cheer for whoever i want. Hell, i know all of their football players, all their wrestlers. I've followed them for years.

Why cheer for a loser? (team) (I'd really like to know- because i don't want to switch. But this constant losing is seriously bad for a person. Its changed my life. Mild depression and constant frustration.

This is ISU in a nutshell, if you can't handle it go root for the Hawks.

Me, I love the drama! You always know ISU will find some way to rip your heart out...its fun trying to guess how they will do it. This week we went with the vintage overthrow to the open guy running into the endzone...next week I'm guessing we'll do the old INT in the endzone, but I wouldn't rule out a missed FG in overtime either. Tune in next week!

I take it you're a Cubs, Vikings, and or Buffalo Bills fan?

I was on AA's side up until now. He just blows way too many passes. Is it all his fault? Probably not, but he is missing wide open guys and has no touch on his passes at all. The shot to ARob open down the field on our last drive pretty much sealed it for me. If AA is truly the best we've got, then this is going to be a tough season. I just don't see the improvement. It's the same story. QB starts out strong, but never develops and matures.

I hate to pile on AA, because he is so tough, but, he just can not hit a guy down the field. Most of the time he can't find them. I am assuming that Tiller just isn't ready to go. Maybe they will start him against UNI and rest AA.

Bravo to you for making me laugh, because this loss is basically the end of the season

What's frustrating is that we supposedly have big play receivers, and Arnaud mostly had lots of time today, and the running game was doing well. Aside from the Arnaud overthrow, where exactly was the big play potential??

With the exception of #5, I think your observations are very good.

We already have tons of bandwagon fans here at Iowa. We really don't need more...

Stick with ISU. Some day, they'll get good at football.

Why stop there, find a program with a few national championships because that's what makes your life roll. Heck, you might as well switch every year to make sure you survive.

Go away. That is the weakest thing I have ever heard from a fan. Go be an Iowa fan, then if they end up bad in a few years it's back to the drawing board. Texas seems to win alot...maybe you should start following them? I hear North Carolina has a solid basketball program-- perhaps you should become a fan?
