Does the NCAA have to make a decision about White before the season starts or can they just not say anything and let their silence be their answer?

I like your thinking but I'd guess as a transfer he's out unless he receives

I think the NCAA is working overtime to figure out a way to get the Kentucky Freshman from overseas eligible. With his old coach saying they paid him, that should rule him out, but since it is Kentucky they have to find some reason to say that they don't believe the old coach but they have faith that Rick Pitino would not lie or break any rules.

This is really inconsiderate especially to Fred. He basically needs to install two different offenses in practice. One with Royce, one without. What a freaking inconvenience.

I would really hope that this is not the case, as if you are developing an offensive scheme you really don't want to have it dependent upon any one player. I see where you are coming from, but in the end there are multiple strings for this very reason... One guy can't play, there are two or more that are familiar with that position and can step in and know exactly what needs to be done.

I think its pretty evident with a guy that talented we would be feeding the post with more regularity than if he's not in there. I shouldn't say completely different offense, but different way of attacking a defense for sure.

Really? Thats interesting and surprising to me at the same time. I would think a kid thats transferring would be considered out for a year automatically unless specifically stipulated otherwise.

Fred did say he would run a different offense if White is able to play. It is proabably a little different pakages that they might have for white if he gets to play.
