Was anyone amazed by his arrogance yesterday? Yes I know he is the biggest piece of ****, but his halftime comments were extremely degrading. Even after the game he didn't give ISU any credit for the game we played. Honestly if I could have one swing at anyone in the world it would be this *********.

Honestly, to me, he's on the same level of hate as Tom Brands. Same personality, different sport. Guy is just a ****. No arguing. Honestly, the reason most Nebraska fans probably like him is because he wins and gets the job done. Other than that, no saving qualities.

It is too bad we won't be able to knock him off his pedestal in the future.

Does anyone have a link to an article or want to sum up what he said?

Yeah, not the most likeable guy out there. I didn't really enjoy seeing his big snot bubble yesterday during the post-game interview.

I haven't seen any interviews from yesterday but I've always liked Bo Pelini. I think Nebraska made a great hire with him.

I know Nebraska has tradition but who would want to play for a guy like Pelini? What a complete jerk. We are so lucky to have CPR. Night and day difference and recruits will begin to notice.

He has certainly rejuvenated NB football, but he comes off as a moron - a stereotypical "dumb jock".

I wouldn't trade Paul Rhoads for that slack jawed trailer hick for any amount of money. He's a doosh on every level and has no class whatsoever. He belongs at Nebraska, he embodies the white trash ignorant meatheads that infest that fanbase. They really belong in the big 10, Iowa and Nebraska truly deserve each other...

Wow I don't understand the Bo bashing. He's a fired up guy and can get hot headed at times but I don't think he's arrogant. And I guess you can say what you want about him but so far he's produced results.

He's a step-up from Calahan as Nebraska coach, and he has produced results. But he's like the anti-"Mack Brown", which isn't good but isn't all bad either. He's hot-headed, for sure, and the team's attitude reflects that at times, but they knew that going in (the Snyder incident when K-State beat him under Solich in Lincoln, for instance). The OP is right that he doesn't show the opponents much respect. Still, I respect him more than other current Big XII coaches, at least one of which I hope we send to yet another defeat next weekend, as I still remember that blue turf bowl. Go State!

Way up there
I can respect Bo, he's the same **** in interviews regardless of how his team performs or if its the offseason, preseason, postgame etc... He takes accountability for how his team performs, something the guy before him in Lincoln didn't do. I think he hates the part of his job that requires him to have to speak to the media, who here would be excited about being forced to speak to people who's job it is to critique his job. The media knows this, why do you think he was questioned first and we didn't even see CPR's interview. I think the halftime interview needs to go anyway. You never hear anything except the same old coachspeak every game.

In the halftime interview, he commented that the Nebraska fumble that led to our field goal shouldn't have been a fumble because his forward progress had stopped for 15 seconds.

Watching the replay, his forward progress never stopped for even a second.

In the post game interview he said, "all great teams have games like this" or something to that affect. He did comment that you can't play a certain way against a "Rhoads coached team".

The guy is a tool. There is no doubt about that.

We had the "I love Bo" thread last week.
If it makes you feel any better we really like Dan Hawkins and want to keep him in the Big 12.

I just chuckled during the post game interview as the small drippage of snot dripped outta his nose yet he couldn't bring himself to wipe it.

In all fairness, he gave Paul Rhoads credit for what he's done at ISU in various other interviews leading up to the game. I'm sure now he has even more respect for our program which is why it's a shame we won't get to play them anymore.

I think people make Bo out to be a jerk (which he kind of is) because he's wants to talk about his team rather than the team they are facing. I think he was in too much shock during the post game interview to be giving us any credit.

Btw, did anyone else notice the big ole boogie hanging out of Bo's nose in the on-field post game interview? Gross.
