If Hoiberg didn't accept, Geoffrey gave the A-Okay to JP to talk to Eustachy. True story.
True to your user name, I'm calling your bluff here.

No bluff here. Unless JP lies to golfing buddies...convo went....True to your user name, I'm calling your bluff here.
Yup. They were drinking their apple juice while LE baby sat.I wonder if any of the players drank with Larry while he was here at ISU.

...and thus begins the inevitable "Larry is great"/"Larry is terrible" portion of the thread.
If we didn't have Fred, i'd take him back.
And too many people put too much emphasis on those 2 years after the championships without looking at the pieces he had for the next year. Larry would have done more with those players than Wayne did.
I'm not saying LE was a good guy off the court when he was here, but he won and took ISU to places we've never been before. With his recruits or not, he still won. That would be like CPR winning back to back big 12 championships and winning a BCS bowl in his first few years without his recruits. Would we still be saying, "aw, he's not a good coach until he wins with his recruits." (I know, not exactly the same thing, but you get my point)
I don't agree with what he did off the court, but he had a couple of really good years at ISU and he gets my respect with that.
End of his game with Ole Miss, he called the ref a mother......! He does get excited.
People make mistakes....i believe in people need a second chance, barring extreme are heinous circumstances......
