If he got addicted to pain killers or something then I hope he can overcome it and move on in life. Since the article mentions prescription drugs I'll hold out complete judgment until they say what the drugs were.

But if it's anything else... this is just classic.

Iowa Football star Derrell Johnson-Koulianos has been charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs. He, along with his roommate, are charged with keeping a drug house as well. DJK is currently being held in the Johnson County Jail.
