Up by 9, lose by 9. 18 point swing allowed by ISU.

This losing games that we should have won is quickly getting to be a pain in the ***.

Even though I expected NOTHING out of this season, I talked myself into believing we were going to win this one and break the streak in Stinkwater. So then when it went to OT, I was worked into a frenzy like we were playing for a Final Four berth or something. I didn't need that. Didn't even watch the OT. Didn't have to. I knew it wouldn't end well and I had enough of a blood pressure spike already.

I am now calmed down and can go to sleepyville knowing we have a great staff that has this team overachieving, all things considered. And the hoops program finally has a bright future again. Go Clones.

One of the worst games I have ever watched as far as anxiety goes. I just had a sinking feeling in the last 3 minutes that we would find a way to lose this one and we did.

These are the kind of games we win next year when we have a full roster.

Hey....we played 6 players. Maybe 7, i don't know. On the road against a good team.
Should we have beaten UNI, CAL, NU and OSU? Yes! But we didn't. we move on and will probably get beat against Mizzou. Then we need to beat a crappy tt and ou team at home to go 3-4 and we are back in business.

I do have a question though. Am I the only one that would like to see that page kid from OSU "hit from behind" by a Gorilla from the Omaha zoo?

Re: Godfrey better start over Ejim Saturday

Calm down, he made some mistakes, but the loss was on the whole team (with some help from the refs at the end)

I guess we are the Cyclones. Here we go folks. Up by 4, less than a minute remaining and we hand them the gameball before the game ever ends - why couldn't we call a TO?!? Clearly the players needed it.

They did take a timeout, then Ejim threw it away. Game was lost when we failed to get a stop the last 4 or 5 minutes. Lot of poor plays down the stretch. Great effort, but you got to beat em by 15 to win by 2 on the road. Just too many mistakes and couldn't get a stop. Really disappointed with the defense down the stretch. Maybe they just wore down.

A freshman had a bad game....that's never happened before!

Get over it.

I thought Godfrey played rather terrible himself tonight.

I am sick. They had the game in the bag and not having a big man as well as Ejim and his stupid mistakes at the end of regulation and overtime cost this team. Ejim has now cost this team 2 wins. I love Ejim but it is clear he can't handle clutch situations. He needs to be on the bench in late game situations.

This is just another example of how a portion of our fanbase insists on making knee-jerk reactions.

Melvin will be fine. Did you expect a freshman to not have a bad game??
