Last night hurt but it is time to move on

I don't think we match up well with Mizzou but this team keeps surprising me. If we handle their press we have a chance but I will go

Mizzou 78
ISU 72

Cyclones stay in it for the first 35 minutes. Then whittle it away in the last 5, losing in the 5-8 point range. Yet another game they should win but didn't.

Just when you think this team is down and out BOOM! They win this one 85-82. I see them working hard watching film and getting better. Ranked Team on the road, resume builder.

I think this team is due for a down game. they haven't had one in a long time, the OSU loss was painful, and Mizzou plays a style we haven't really seen yet this year.

I'm sure we'll fight to the end, but I think this is a game where they make a run at the end of the first half to go up 15, and they maintain a 10-15 pt lead through the second half.

My prediction is 86-71 Mizzou.

Exactly why should ISU win at #13 MU? Is it now expected that unrated teams go on the road and knock off rates teams?
Going into the game no, they shouldn't be expected to win the game. However, when any team has a lead late in the game, like ISU had a 9-point lead on OSU with 3 minutes to go, I then expect them to win the game.

I think we'll get rocked, and then go on a winning streak after this one.

89-74 Mizzou wins it

While at Charlotte, Coach Lutz went 3-3 against Mike Anderson's UAB squad. ISU will be ready for the "40 minutes of hell" - but will they be able to keep up?

Fan in me - ISU by 4

Realistically - Mizzou by 10+

I don't see ISU being able to stay in this game. I think the pace that Missouri plays will expose the lack of depth of ISU more than any game so far this year.

I think ISU will lose by 20 or more.

Shoot well, rebound, and stay out of foul trouble and we are in this game.

Any one of the three items above not happen and we lose handily (10-15pts).

Not sure what to expect. Reason tells me that this will be a really tough game due to the talent and style of the Tiger team, the hangover from a tough overtime loss, and the plain lack of rest.

I know for a fact that these kids will give it absolutely everything they have. That's my only prediction for this one.

I think it will be ugly. Not because they are great but because of depth, travel, etc... If we keep it under 15 I'll be mildly surprised.

I think this will be our worst loss of the season, 15+. Between blowing a late lead to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, an OT game, and either not going home or going home and turning right around and leaving again, this spells major hangover. It will not be pretty, but it will be Fred's first opportunity to just hit the reset button.

Then a 2-game win streak, possibly leading to a big unexpected road win at CU before coming home to make it a 4-game streak against a tail-spinning KSU.

I don't think that there is any "should win" about this one. IF we win I'll love it, but this one could leave a mark. I hope I'm wrong.

Now Go Prove me wrong.

Go Cyclones.

Agreed with others here, i really dont have a good feeling about this game. Between last night's draining game and not going home, this already difficult game got more difficult.

At the same time, i feel bad for saying that, because this team really hasnt shown a lack of fight all season, so hopefully they'll prove us wrong.
