You are correct.

A lot of people from Le Mars like to complain about Blue Bunny because the city bends over for them.

They seem to forget that Le Mars would be a ghost town without Wells BB.

True, and I don't care anymore, but it is pretty ****** to threaten to leave town if you don't get exactly what you want.

LeMars, great town. Does Hugo's still have prime rib on Fridays for lunch. I always loved that.

No idea. Haven't lived there for almost 8 years, and have only been back 3 or 4 times in the last 3 years.

Also home to one of the greatest places for steaks, Archie's Waeside.

Archie's is waaay overrated.

And the best hot dog at Bobs

Number one thing I miss about the town.

The Hawkeye hotbed of Durant, Iowa. My brother and I escaped, graduated from ISU, and found careers elsewhere.

Home of the Spartans. We used to call it Homerville. Seems like every game we ever played over there, we got jobbed by the hometown officiating. And the less-than-friendly fans completed the package.

Typical. Get beat and blame the officials. As far as the less-than-friendly fans, it depends on when you played. Some years were worst than others.
