This is why a guy like Diante Garrett is truly a great Cyclone. Guy never got in trouble, stayed 4 yrs when it would have been easy to walk, and was a solid player all around.

I can't remember for certain if P'Allen signed the LOI with ISU but I remember it being a mutual lack of interest on both sides between him and McDermott. Similar deal with Westbrook when McD said "thanks, but no thanks".

P'Allen did back out of his LOI, but I think he had to go to prep school anyways. Mcdermott did recruit hiim hard after that to go to ISU the next year though, so I don't think it was a mutual thing. We could have definitely used Westbrook, Stinnet, not so much, would've just been yet another transfer.

Only 17 of the 49 total guys have used more than 50% of their potential eligibility.

And the NCAA continues to say that the Student in Student-Athelete comes first. How out of touch is that organization?

Just to clarify, that is saying they have only used that much eligibility at Iowa State.

Hubalek made 3 as a juco!

NOT a chewey recruit, so it doesn't count.

The ogre was an unmitigated disaster at Iowa State. He is the big red x on JP's resume. He should be, jp has caught two breaks or this ad would be right on the ledge ready to fall off the cliff into the abyss.

The saddest part is that there were his buddies and relatives on here trying to prop his worthless *** up, and people were still defending him 14 months ago. Even though it was obvious that he was hopelessly outclassed as a coach, by EVERY coach in the league.

Then you look at what he did to his so-called best friend. Taking away his son, after placing him there, in order to offer something to that pos creighton u.

What an absolute disgusting not even human being chewey is.

To be fair, Stinnet was a head case that had his fair share of issues at Creighton and Westbrook apparently had an overbearing father, but I can't recall him having too many issues at Minnesota.

We never should have let Russell Westbrook go. He turned out. :jimlad:

Really goes to show you that we haven't just had a few rough years.

We have been a very bad Big 12 program for a long time.
