Every year, there is a a high amount of foreign players drafted in the first round, and every year there is a high amount of foreign busts. These guys, and Ricky Rubio, have less than stellar numbers from foreign leagues. Rubio averaged something like 6 points in 23 minutes per game. This guy is supposed to be a savior? I don't think so. Also, this Biyombo guy has 2 points, 3 rebounds a game career written all over him.

There have been some questions as to if he's actually more like 22 or 23 years old. His body doesn't look like an 18 year old, and he seems far too polished for his age.

Personally, don't care how old he is.
He speaks 6 languages at 18.

Pau won the MVP averaging 12 points and like 8 boards over there, it's really hard to compare Euro league stats to NBA stats. It's hard for a lot of young guys, no matter how talented, to get a lot of burn over there.

Jimmer won't do anything in this league.

This is absolutely impossible. He will at least be a role player shooter off of the bench. At the very least. He has range beyond the NBA 3pt line. I expect him to be a very effective energy guy off of the bench on a really good team or a starter on a bad team.

Kemba > Jimmer

Agreed. I think Kemba is going to have a very long career in the NBA. I think he will have a Chauncey Billups type career, very good to great, but never the super star, just an exceptional player.

I think Jimmer is going to struggle in the pros. He has outstanding range, the best easily in this draft, but that is it. He has no defensive skills, and is an average passer. He will be nothing more than a role player.

Have any of you guys seen him play defense? Me either.

He played 40 mins a game, having to get 30 plus most nights for his team to win, and having to run his *** off trying to get open, of course they had to hide him on D.

I think he'll have just as good a career as Kemba Walker. Walker is a short, volume shooting two guard, I don't think he'll ever be close to All-Star level.

Jimmer is more athletic than he gets credit for. He didn't play defense in college because he wasn't supposed to to avoid being tired and getting in foul trouble. His team needed him to score in volume.

Jimmer doesn't play off the ball. He's not a Korver that can run around screens to get open, he has to have the ball and take step backs and pull up jumpers, he also won't be able to get to the hoop like he could in college.
