Jimmer is more athletic than he gets credit for. He didn't play defense in college because he wasn't supposed to to avoid being tired and getting in foul trouble. His team needed him to score in volume.

Their is absolutely no truth to that. That is an excuse that people make up for his lack of defense.

Chances Utah's lottery picks are better than Clevelands: I'll say 75%, I like Burks' game.

The team actually needed him to move his feet. His team got eliminated in the tourney because he let a guy drive right on by.

Yes because it's extremely easy to play 40 mins a game get double teamed on offense and lock down the other team's best guard. So easy to do.

Jimmer doesn't play off the ball. He's not a Korver that can run around screens to get open, he has to have the ball and take step backs and pull up jumpers, he also won't be able to get to the hoop like he could in college.

Why won't he be able to run off screens and get open? That's the easy part, knocking down shots is the hard part. He handled the ball a lot because he was BYU's best ball handler, that's a plus, not a negative. He will be fine spotting up and coming off screens. His game is going to change, he's not going to be driving near as much as he did in college, he will be more of a spot up shooter.

Tell that to Lebron, Dwayne Wade, and Evan Turner. Its not easy going from a guy with the ball always in his hands to a guy having to play off the ball.

Spot up shooters that don't play D aren't that valuable. You could've drafted Lace Dunn at the end of the second round.

Who said anything about the other teams best guard? He couldn't guard any teams worst guard. Also, Diante played Jimmer type minutes and he played defense. So yes, him not playing defense do to his scoring ability is an excuse.
