cyclone report isalways two days behind cyclone fanatic and one day behind the scout site.

Wrong. Scout doesn't even have all the known commits listed. Scout is always weeks if not months behind Rivals. Rivals always lists the known commits the day after they are known to have committed, unless they commit over the weekend, than they will list them as a commit on Monday. Why? Because they do not work over the weekend. Of course a message board will list a commit first because of Chris Williams and twitter. Rivals has to talk to the kid, coach, or family to verify it first. Unless a kid commits in the morning, they won't list them til the next day because most kids commit after school, which by that time is at the end of a working day for most people. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why they are 1 day behind.

Chris has talked to Watson right? Paul hasn't. That right there is the difference

Well that is completely incorrect.

You do realize that making false claims to hurt another persons business is called defamation correct? Get your facts straight or stay out of the topic.

There is not anyone even running the scout site anymore, so it can hardly be considered better than Rivals.

In saying that, CR has gone way down hill. Paul doesn't cover bball anymore. Football updates are less frequent and often on prospects ISU is hardly recruiting.

How do you know he has? This is the internet, not a newspaper. There is no libel statute with a message board. Stay on the rivals site. You pay for it anyways, might as well use it.

What fantasy world do you live in where hiding behind a keyboard shields you from libel?

How do I know he has? Because he said he has. As a professional running a business, I take his word for it, just like I take CW's word on his reports. The argument that it's just the internet and not a newspaper is laughable at best.

What little credibility you had is completely gone with this post. You don't know what you're talking about in this post, which makes your posts about Rivals suspect too.

To clarify on Will Watson, I believe the problem, and maybe why Rivals doesn't have him listed, is because Watson may have committed to the good guys, but I don't think the good guys have accepted his commitment yet, at least that was the situation a couple of weeks ago. Granted, it could have changed by now. I don't have a Rivals subscription so I don't know if that's why Rivals doesn't list him, but it makes sense.

What? So Paul Clark is going to come on here, say that post in some way harmed his business, and then go about trying to muster the facts to support this? One could argue that a message board is not be intended to be viewed as statements of facts, as there is not profit being garnered from this by the posters. Clark would never win in a court, and you sir have no idea what it takes to prove libel. If message board posts were enough, their wouldn't be a single site running is the US. Get off your high horse.

It has nothing to do with court, it has everything to do with showing a little tact. The idea that you aren't accountable for what you put up on a public message board due to anonymity is pretty ridiculous.

Claims usually do not end with question marks.

All right, enough with the cat fight. Rivals doesn't have him listed as a commit. If you don't like it, don't read Rivals. Get Chris to create a commitment list here on CF and then you don't have to go over to Rivals at all.

Or you can all play internet tough guy and whine back and forth. To each his own...

I don't care about whose is better...I just want to know who the other 5 commits are.
I can't say due to NCAA booster issues. And Alan, I'm not gone..... just watching with great interest and enjoyment.

I always get a kick out of comments regarding PC and use of 'paid information' from his board.
He didn't seem to worry about cashing my check and not sending his print magazine years ago. Yes, I know, I can't let go............

Disclaimer: The following is my and my opinion alone and is no way a direct reflection of the abilities or character of any individuals responsible for their content produced.

Alright, IN MY OPINION Paul is still pretty well connected in the ISU Football game. In the past he always stated that he wouldn't put a commit on the board until he has spoken with the individual or their coach to confirm the commitment. That normally means he hears about a commit, then reaches out to the individual for confirmation. Keep in mind that not everyone answers their phone right away and they have to call back; I'm sure if someone commits they might want to be telling family first, not some website.

That doesn't really mean he's behind, hell he could be way ahead, it's just not put on the commitment section. He holds himself to his standards, which in this case sounds more like quality journalism than someone being out of touch.

FYI, I'm not a paying subscriber and I'm a CycloneFanatic to the core. That doesn't make CR something their not.
