I didn't check the link, but if in fact that is legit (OU-Mizzou-A&M), then this thing could come tumbling down if ND says no.

I can't say I'd blame them.

This is where I am leaning, but I would blame them. They want people to say well the big 12 tried but couldn't attract anyone to keep the league together, fact is 10 teams pledged allegiance, and that allegiance seemingly means nothing based on twitter, flightaware, etc. Too much talk of positive things happening and a little hint of back room negotiations. hopefully it still breaks in our favor but I tend to think ND holds the card to the future of the big 12 and I wouldn't bet on that for a minute. If we can't get a team or teams we need to make it go, every team has cover to run that can and I fear they will

If the flight from Columbia to Norman (450 mi) took 37 min . . . seems kind of fast for that aircraft.

Seems like they didn't track it for a good portion of the flight, you can see by the scheduled portion on the left that the flight actually took 2+ hours:

FlightAware > OUA36 > 28-Aug-2011 > KCOU-KOUN

But, if that is the case then how did they take off from KOUN at 2:40pm when that plane shouldn't have even been there yet! Let the conspiracy continue...

Iowa State's plane flew to Decorah! Clearly means we are joining the Iowa Conference.

Also, flights to Manhattan, KS. It's almost like schools in the same conference might have flights between each other.

Im guessing they left before the scheduled time. Hard to tell since the flight from OU to MU wasnt logged.

That does seem to be the case, as the flight was actually tracked during the latter portion so the arrival time should be correct. Wonder what happened to make them leave over an hour ahead of schedule to make it down to aTm?!?

I'll be worried when we are tracking ISU's plane to any city with the headquarters for the WAC, MAC, Sunbelt, or MWC.

I agree with this and your prior post.

Like a year ago I am not going to worry until what happens, happens.

With this flight track thing though, I would think some information is going to be relayed, whether the parties involved are going to act on it or not. It isn't hard to imagine A&M has more information now than they had before.

But I could be wrong and the world is actually coming to an end.

So.. 1300 more posts until this is the biggest thread on CF.

Still not even halfway to the most views, though it is the #2 thread for views.

I am guessing you will provide 200-300 more posts in this thread. This thread will break records on this site.

And yet your ginormous picture will still take up more space on this site than everyone else's posts combined.

Somebody on the texags board says the OU plane is one they use for their aviation program. Not one for high ranking university officials.

So take it from me, an anonymous poster quoting another anonymous poster on a different message board. We are fine!
