If it meant going to 12 teams I'd rather pick up schools like Louisville, Cincinnati and West Virginia over just BYU.
5348 will be the record setting post. Is there a prize?
Hold on........the jar, the fire, all that. I just went back in the thread and read all of that. Holy ****! What a bunch of demented freaks.
Yep and I'm surrounded by them including some Corps kids in my class

Get out... Get out of there now!! :swoon:
Actually, ESPN is vehemently opposed to 4 super conferences. That's why they created the LHN.
I have no idea why more people haven't picked up on that.
These people are seriously ****ed up and have horrendously misplaced priorities.
Al you are a pretty reasonable guy, and one of the best posters on here, but you are dead wrong.
ESPN and fox want four conferences, but they also want the biggest and the best schools like UT, osu, mich, ND, etc. to have the chance to get their own networks. National brands mean more markets.
They signed UT because they were the first ones available, and they don't give a **** what anyone thinks of them. The hope is that the others see what a network can mean for them, and then they create their own.
It is all about weakening the NCAA and BCS hold on cfb. Get an alliance of four conferences, and you can create the playoff system that many want, and the advertising revenue goes off the charts.
I think BYU, Pitt, and WVU is a more possible pick up, and would be a very good one. Wish more discussion was being made of that.

#Big12 can't survive w/o #TAM if must have the #NotreDames or #BYUs. Id prefer #sooners put up dukes & scrum n #SEC. But #Pac10 more likely
the rumor making the rounds now is BYU made the descision privately to remain INDY
