The conference is done. No decent school in their right mind would want to join this dysfunctional mess. I hope ISU lands in one of the super conferences.

What dysfunction? Aggy wanted to stick it to UT, nothing more. ADs with a clue understand that the Big XII is a very lucrative proposition.

I'm a little concerned about this too. I think BYU would be a good addition, but would they really want to step into such an unstable situation? I suppose they could just go back to being independent.

If I were JP, and for the record I am not, I'd get together with the AD's from K-State and KU and see if that Big East offer is still an option. It would be a step down, or maybe sideways with a slightly downwards trajectory, but you know the old saying about a bird in the hand.

.....Eventually leads to burning a jar full of aggie?

Insert picture of guy applying palm to face.

Some people are surprised by this move and think it came out of nowhere. As long as Boomer and Bevo are here, the conference will go forward.

large airport there...could be meeting anyone. doubt it is U of H. That would be death of bXII.

Considering its Oklahoma flying that plane, if (and thats a big if) it were flying to UH, presumably that would mean OU was ok with the idea. If OU is ok with the idea, the conference stays together. Texas is happy where it is.

first off the conference is not done until Texas/OU decide it it....second, good luck getting into a super conference if that occurs. (which I do not think it will)

Any instability has been caused by external forces; Larry Scott, Jim Delaney (who has killed hookers) or Aggie. BYU would increase stability and they know that.

Do you suppose aggie has a special "governors jar" to burn. I was under the impression that Rick Perry was a yell leader.
