Dodds: Big 12 expansion committee is "shaping the future of the conference so it will continue to be one of the top leagues in the country”

That sounds like a man who is 70% bailing if I ever heard it.

The slash represents the vinculum of a fraction, so anything to the right is within its container. By performing the operations in order of containers, the answer is 2.

The slash represents division. There is no 'container'

The irony here is that Oklahoma can't go anywhere, even if they want to, unless Texas does.

Oklahoma doesn't want to join the SEC, but that is the only conference that would have them without Texas. OU can't get a PAC 16 invite without UT. I get the sense that OU would really like to be in the PAC 16, but I don't think UT will give up the LHN to go west.

Actually, I'd say he probably couldn't care less.

Not to get too philosophical, but could someone who *really* cares deeply, not allow themselves to care less? He couldn't care less because he cares so much?

Maybe we should wipe out both the correct and incorrect usage of that phrase just in case.

(A&M sucks)

Corrected. :err:

NO, don't cave to the "couldn't care less" mob. Could care less more accurately reflects the sentiments of the phrase. Think about it... "Could care less" means you might or might not be able to care less. You care so little about it that you didn't even decide if you could care less or not.

On the other hand "couldn't care less" means you actually care enough about the subject that you determined whether you could or couldn't care less.
