Pinkel said, "You don't hear about these issues at any other lg in the country. And we all know where it starts"
He said it on the Tim Brando radio show.

When I see you were the last post, I knew it would be a negative tweet.

They didn't **** it down their legs, the blew it in a jar and burned it.And people wonder why you can't understand what aTm is doing, they don't have a clue as to what they are doing! How angry would our fanbase be if we had an opportunity like that and we turned it down not even understanding what it entirely entailed? I know there are likely some that are happy they didn't join forces with Texas, but if it would have been a group effort it wouldn't have been 'The Longhorn Network' it would have been something different. Looks like aTm had the chance of a lifetime to be involved and they ****** it down their legs...
Dislike for UT overall and the big stick they wield in the B12 is what has brought down this conference. The LHN is a symptom of a bigger problem that has led to massive instability. He does not like the LHN it is obvious.
Pitt, ECU and UCF really just gnaw at me...not because they are bad schools, but because the geographic issue.
I still don't understand the problem with Texas's power.
Do people think that if we had equal revenue sharing that Texas would be less powerful or less of a say in league decisions? I don't get it. How does Texas's power negatively effect the rest of us? I just don't see it.
The problem is the people perceive Texas's power as the problem in the Big 12, even though it really isn't, and perception becomes reality.
Texas's power is a problem because everyone insists it is.
Quotes from the TTech AD seem pretty relevant. Are you suggesting we only post positive comments or paint the picture that everything is rosy in the Big 12?
OU is currently being tugged at by the P12. With the exception of BYU, the proposed addition of any current non-AQ school to the B12 will cause OU to flee to the P12 (and then UT, Tech and Okie St will follow).
It is worthless to discuss any B12 expansion scenarios involving ECU, UCF, Houston, SMU, etc.

I agree somewhat, here is the thing. Texas can't go recruit aliens to play, they can't play with 15 guys on the field. They can only get so good at football, another X amount per year isn't going to help them be any better at football. So what if they have gold covered toilets? So they have more money...big deal. They can only be so good, there are diminishing returns to these dollars. Big deal if they have facilities 1000X better than anyone else? Does that hurt anything but pride of the other members? OU and A and M will always have more than enough and we are always going to have less. That's just reality.
