I figure that the bball teams would go to the A10 but you never know. Also 7 teams means no Auto bid to any post season.
The Rivals site at Rutgers is stating they have been in contact with the B1G.
7 schools can't be a conference
With like every other school who has a chance of getting screwed over. I'm sure ISU has been in talks with the B1G, but so what.
9 Candidates have had preliminary interviews (in Minneapolis). (as of yesterday) The committee will narrow it to 5 then hold on-campus interviews.
Let me be clearer. Rutgers is talking to the B1G and they believe they will get an invite.
I must say, this really threw a curve into all that has gone down. I am anxious to see how it plays out now.
You weren't before?
No, the logic of the Big 12 sticking together kept hope alive, same logic that saved the day last year...appears too much momentum to turn back now, Texas holds the keys to realignment and OU appears to have forced their hand because they wanted to go west. Texas almost certainly goes with them and this will all be done in the coming weeks. that part is good, spent countless hours obsessing over this looking for the positive, but for the first time - it appears the consensus of the decision is its inevitability and might as well get it done now....You weren't before?
B10 has to beat the ACC to Rutgers or else they are screwed on any east expansion candidates...not surprising.
LOL, yeah, I've been anxious from the beginning, but it seems like things had cooled and then suddenly this happens.
