Um no not if we can find a GOOD place without them. BUT if not, then, "yes sir may I have another."
And there's no other good option besides the Big Ten.

I cannot believe Colorado would allow this.
I cannot believe Colorado would allow this.
Yes...Colorado is going to be extremely upset. However, people seem to believe that all the other presidents will put enough pressure on them to force their vote.
Interesting that all it takes is one PAC12 president to end the game of musical chairs...
Doesn't make sense. Why would OU allow Texas to keep it's LHN, but at the same time move out West. Couldn't they just keep the Big XII together with Texas and the LHN, and pick up a few Big East teams?
Unless OU gets tied into the LHN as a Pac 16 regional network - that would probably shut OU up pretty quickly.
I cannot believe Colorado would allow this.
I don't think we're going to see everyone go straight to 16. I think the PAC will go there first - within two weeks we'll see a PAC 16 including Texas, TTech, Oklahoma, & OSU.
The ACC will sit at 14. I think they've already lost all of their member institutions money by adding Syracuse & Pittsburgh - adding two more will only dilute the pot without adding anything (Uconn & Rutgers add nothing to the TV contract and the ACC doesn't get subscriber revenue like the Big Ten schools do).
SEC sits at 14 with TAMU & WVU.
Big Ten stands pat at 12 UNTIL ND becomes a realistic option (don't know when that will be). If the ACC & SEC go to 16, the Big Ten will add ND, but I'm not convinced the Big 10 goes to 16 until some ACC schools become available.
That leaves "The Best of the Rest" Conference. I think there will be a fifth BCS conference composed of schools who have enough political weight that they can't be left out. ISU will be a founding member of this conference.
That is how I think it will play out for at least 4 years or so. The Big Ten won't make a big move until the TV contract comes up for bid in 2015....once the Big Ten decides to make a move, dominoes will begin to fall again, but I don't think the Big Ten makes a move until ND wants to join.
Can you explain this?
They may have agreement. They may want to go BUT it will not happen. The legal system will not let it happen. Is A&M in the SEC yet? Is there an obvious and clear reason why?
It says UT would be able to keep any extra $$$$ they generate.....i.e. NOT SHARE. How is that evening the playing field for OU????
They can do that right here in the B12!!!!
Idiots...all of them!!!!! ARRGGHHHHH
