In order to fix officiating they need to hire full time officials like the NFL. These garbage refs need to undergo proper training and job reviews by the conference. If they screw up they need to get fired or at least go on probation. With so much money riding on the sport nowadays, why not spend some on better officials? Pollard needs to push for this as a part of Big 12 reform.

The refs blew a lot of calls in that game. I was shocked they didn't call that one though. You have to admit the refs blew the call when Money scored at UCONN. Should have been celebration penalty.
There was a facemask on Texas on a play where we gained about 12 yards. The refs said decline the penalty and we got the 12 or so yards, shouldn't the penalty have been added to the yards gained?
I wondered about that too. Aren't personal fouls added to the play?
I believe it was a facemask away from the ball. I'm not sure if that changes the "concurency"
Right the Big 12 is ******* us. Get a grip.
Worse thing about that play was they completely missed the 2 Texas O-lineman that were illegally downfield at least 15 yards before the quarterback even intentionally grounded. You could see the lineman hustling back to the line after they realized the screen throw never got off, yet officials didn't call a thing.....
My favorite was "the previous play of the runner being down by contact is under review" followed closely by "after review, the call of a fumble recovered by the offense is confirmed".
Anyone else catch this Saturday night?
Pass interference is not a spot foul in college. It's 15 yards unless inside 15, then it's a spot foul.
