I don't really have a reason, but I'd like to see Missouri in a BCS game.

I would like to see whatever BIG 12 team has the best chance of winning the national championship play in the national championship game. However at this point, I'm unsure which team that is.

After Oregon lost last night, I would now think the only way the Big12 is not represented in the championship would be if we beat Kansas and they went on to win the title. So I'll take Missouri.

Gotta pull for MU or KU. For years all we've heard is how "terrible" the Big12 North Division was/is. Even earlier this season, media from local to national would barely mention any team in the North, unless it was to either say how awful the division is or to say NE is on the verge of rebuilding it's "supremecy." A North team (other than NE) in the BCS Championship would instantly give every team in the division a huge boost.

gotta pull for anyone but KU because if you are pulling for them, that is kind of like pulling for them to beat us tomorrow isn't it?

I agree with your logic. I am sick and tired of hearing how the Big 12 is mainly Texas and Oklahoma, and Nebraska in the past, it would be good to see a new name. If the Big 12 north becomes stronger as a result, all the better for our recruiting.

I'm going to have to go with Missouri.

The last thing we need as fans is Kansas fans with an even greater power trip than they already get with their basketball team. They're a basketball school and they never fail to trumpet their success on the court - we don't need them foaming at the mouth about the gridiron as well. Plus, as BET said above, cheering for KU to go all the way in a sense is cheering for them to beat us this week.

As far as Oklahoma, I can't even remember the last time I even wanted them to win. Why would I start now?

That leaves Missouri. I've always viewed Mizzou our less educated, less intelligent, 3 or 4 times removed, inbred cousins. No matter how much you don't get along with them, and no matter how asinine they can be, you always want your family to succeed because you'd at least rather see them succeed than some other d-bag on the block. That's why I'm cheering for Mizzou to win this - they're very similar to us history-wise (excluding all of that less educated, less intelligent, inbred thing) and I figure if Mizzou can pull this off there's no reason why we can't.

If KU gets in, it's because they beat us on Saturday and I want my Clones to win!!

ummm...Iowa State?

lol, I know it isn't possible but someone should have ruled that one out considering this is CycloneFanatic.com.

If I had to choose I would like to see Mizzou. I know they are a rival and a trophy team we play every year...but I am sick of seeing the big 12 south getting all the props and I hate Stoops and Oklahoma so that rules them out. I would say Kansas bcuz coming into 2007 they had to be one of the last big 12 teams you woulda guessed would be in their position, HOWEVER: IOWA STATE PUTS MORE PEOPLE IN THE STANDS THAN AN UNDEFEATED KANSAS TEAM. Kansas' fans are pathetic (at least when it comes to football) so they don't deserve to be in the BCS. SO I would hafta go with Mizzou.

Here's to it being Iowa State that we are talking about in the BCS this time NEXT year!!!

Wow, I sure hope everyone is taking into consideration who would have to win/lose in each situation and that is why OU is getting so many votes. How any ISU fan would want a south team to win the title again is over my head (unless they were playing Nebraska I guess). As for the Missouri/Kansas debate, I vote for Kansas simply because they aren't that obnoxious of fans in football. I've been to both Missouri and Kansas a few times for football and Missouri's fans are bunch of idiots in comparison. Kansas fans may get to Missouri's level if they keep winning in football but right now it's not even close for me. Go Kansas (this is just assuming we lose this week, doesn't mean I want that to happen).

Kansas fans aren't that obnoxious, because they AREN'T in the stands...Mizzou actually has a "following" in their football program. KU's home attendance is absolutely terrible for an undefeated team. Iowa State would be trying to pack 60K+ in to Jack Trizzle if we were undefeated at this point in a season.

I won't argue with that, I guess if you're not there you can't be a bunch of inbred pricks with Tiger tails glued to your bumper. Missouri, however, is not that much better in regards to attendance. I haven't ever seen the place full when I've gone down there (of course they were playing lowly ISU) and they are also the only game in town, or in this case, the state, thus giving them greater numbers in terms of fanbase.

Not Mizzou

I really like the fact that the only Big XII titles they have won in the history of the conference was in Women's Softball's regular season and tournament back in one of the first couple years of the conference.

I agree with most. I want a North team to go to the title game. The media has been pretty tough on the North the last few years and having two teams in the top 4 in the country from the North looks good.

I think Missouri is the more complete team (between KU & MU), so I'd like to see them make it all the way.

However, I don't want the Big XII to be embarrased, so part of me thinks OU might be the best choice because I think they'll have the best chance to beat LSU.
