EVER? Very likely.

Now, when was the last time they lost on the same weekend, when both teams were ranked in the top 5? or top 10 even?

The 90's werent kind

Was going to say that before I read your post.

People seem to forget how down OU was in the 90's and OSU was horrible in the early 90's and about a 4-5 win team the rest of the 90's. IIRC OSU had a year where they didn't win a game, right before or after ISU had their stellar 0-10-1 season.

Oklahoma State isn't a legendarily good program--they're very up and down. Even aside from the week brought up previously from last season, it wouldn't be hard to find a week when both lost--the toughest part, honestly, and this is no shot at OSU, is finding a week when OU lost.

I think that they were the -1 in that season.

Fixed it. Now that T Boone has dumped 1/3 of a BILLION dollars into their programs, they will continue to be good. If Mike Gundy would happen to falter, Pickens will make sure they get somone in there that will get it done.

BTW they have won 9 or more game the last 4 years playing in what was the incredibly tough Big 12 south.

...EVER both lost on the same weekend?

How young do you have to be to think Oklahoma State has always been a powerhouse? 10?

A handful of years ago, Iowa State pounded Ok State in Ames, 37-10. Could have been 60-10. ISU dominated the game before that in Ames, too.

If a billionaire comes along and gives ISU $300 million, it will improve as well.

Although that happened this year and last year (OU lost, OSU won) and of course every year that OSU has won Bedlam.

But yes, in general, for the last 12 years or so, OU has lost something like an average of 1 regular season game per year. Something ridiculous like that.

So the most difficult scenario to find recently is where both share a loss on the same weekend, but OSU has had some terrible stretches there, and the post-Switzer years were a lost decade for OU.

Since 2000? Different story. OSU has slowly grown into prominence, and of course OU has been a national title hunter again for several of those years.

Still hope Okie St. wins Bedlam and takes the conference title for themselves. They would be electrifying in a BCS game.

Plus, Boomer Sooner always sounds like the song that plays in the head of a drunk circus clown, over and over and over again, until he passes out, crashing his miniature bicycle into the cage of the dancing bear.

How old do you have to be to continuously act in a way that betrays a feeling of patronizing superiority????? :realmad:
