The Pinstripe bowl should be an ACC bowl, not a Big XII bowl. So random why they would want a school from the midwest or Texas.

How are there 2 ACC teams in BCS games and only 1 Big 12 team? Ohh that's right the ACC was the best conference all year and should be rewarded with 2 BCS bowls. The BCS is dumb and is driven by money and D-bags. I hope the ratings for LSU/Bama are the lowest ever! Rant over.

This is a load of crap, if you were going to go anywhere else than you should be able to go to New York too.

Agree. Plane tickets and hotels are expensive regardless. Especially during the holidays. At least look into it before you completely discount it. Someone posted on here that flights to NYC were $100 cheaper than flights to San Diego. Christmas time / New Years Eve in New York City is the scene of countless movies. There must be something cool about it.

It's great that our Clones get to go to a bowl game, but if it is the Pinstripe, many fans will not be able to afford the trip like us. Too bad we would of been in at most other bowls!

Agreed, going to be very tough for us to make it as well, would have gone just about anywhere else, but NY during New Years mean we would be broke for the next couple years.:realmad:

Really? Now granted the 3 times I have went out there were in June/July so December might be a little different but I thought it was awesome and there is a ton of stuff to do.

Guess I just rather have a vacation that could be spent out doors doing fun things. No desire to go to shows, museums, shopping, anything like that...

NYC just always seemed like a lot of people, lots of traffic, colf weather, concrete everywhere. Doesnt sound like a vacation for me.

I really do hope the people who go enjoy it greatly.
