Can't justify the flight from Seattle to New York. If the bowl had been on the West Coast, maybe Texas, I would have.

HELL YES!!! Bowl game one day, New Year's in Timesquare the next day!!!

Being surrounded by thousands of drunk New Yorkers. Pass.

I think watching on TV from the beach in Mexico sounds a LOT better. Id rather drop 1500 a person to stay on an island somewhere for a week.

Can't afford it anyway, but it sucks because I have a feeling that fans won't travel well to this bowl game.

NY will be a huge pain and way too expensive. I will watch it at home. I was going to go to any other bowl they went to.

I have done this....to say it is overrated would be an enormous understatement.

Well I was for driving out for the game and then driving right back, but my stepdaughter is insistant on staying for Timesquare so it looks like we will be adding that to our road trip if this is the bowl we go to

while in the short run this sucks...with all our young players going to a bowl game is huge...more national recognition is never a bad thing....hopefully we curb stomp Rutgers like we should but you never know.

Young players getting more reps for next year is the biggest positive...it's basically like the basketball team going to italy for 10 days, free practices

Not interested in being in the northeast in the winter.
Not interested in being in New York with every other person who has wanted to be there on New Years' Eve.
Not interested in $200 a night hotel rooms.
Not interested in what amounts to a home game for Jersey Shore types.

I am interested in hydrogenated fats and salt however.

No chance. I wouldve gone to any other bowl game, and know a large number of fans who were saying the same thing. Big 12 needs to get out of this bowl, get back to one in florida.

80% chance we don't right meow. Trying to convince the wife we should fly out on the morning of the 30th and go to the game, get drunk, and catch the 6 am flight home.

Kind of sad. I started going to bowl games when ISU played in the Sun Bowl and have not missed any. Had 5 of us going so I saved a lot of money.
