You said you weren't going to a bowl game regardless. So STFU is right.
Yeah you are right I'm not, but complaining about paying more in New York is funny. You are going to pay just as much anywhere else. Look for good deals and stop being stupid.

Did you go to Shreveport? I went both times and had a great time. Missouri is playing North Carolina down there. Better. Won't go to New York. Just how it is.

Wow you really liked Shreveport.....I suppose Omaha would be good for you or the pond out back....:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Well, that rules out me going. It'll be toasty warm in a bar somewhere. At least the team is still playing, I guess that's all that really matters.

How do we go about buying tickets...just looked at the website and there are lots and lots of tickets gone. Does ISU get a block and we buy from them or should we just guess what side of the field will be ISU and buy now?

never had to do this before...don't want to miss getting a decent ticket.

You should definitely order through ISU. Ensures you will sit with all ISU fans around you, and more importantly, the school has to sell its allotment of tickets or make up the difference. The bowls notice which schools sell tickets and which do not travel well.

We will likely need all the support we can get to have a good crowd.

So much for the Big XII looking out for us. Was really thinking we would jump Missouri and A & M. This is going to hurt out travel to bowl games reputation.

Technically we did jump Missouri, and there was no way we were ever going to jump A&M for a bowl in texas.

Are you serious? I was down there in 2001 and had a ton of fun and none of it had to do with casino's. I guess I'm easily entertained.

Yes I am serious and I bet 97% of my teammates will agree. In fact, almost all teammates who were in both Shreveport and Boise said Boise was far better no contest.

You are going to pay just as much anywhere else? Now who is being stupid? New York is probably the most expensive city in the country.

Tickets thru ISU are $115, $100 and $45. I bet those $45 buck tickets are awesome.

If you were going and now cannot justify the expense, you have a right to complain. If you were note planning on going and complaining about those who were planning on paying out, you are being a hypocrite.

You really think that California is less expensive? :twitcy:

How about you do some research and come back here.

No, its not. Probably similar when all is said and done (more travel cost to SD, cheaper once you get there- ive been to San Diego multiple times). But San Diego will be much more enjoyable. You're the one telling people to 'suck it up' about the NYC bowl, but you're not having to justify a very large expenditure to go to a very undesirable location. Its basically vacation time\money for most people, and they dont want to spend it freezing their *** off. For the same money i could put myself on the beach somewhere with some sun and margaritas.
