McGee is the spark this team so often needs off the bench. Who starts in college ball does not matter much. Often starters do not get the most minutes.

Why mess with something that works so well? Leave him as the 6th man, please!

Agree - best 6th man in the conference. He is a shoe in for B12 Rookie of the Week.

He gets starter minutes so who cares?
He'll be pretty natural for the starting lineup next year next to 2-4 players who can play point.Just got to make sure he gets his minutes this year because he is our most consistent offensive scorer and it's not even close. Royce does a ton for the overall offense and is clearly our best rebounder/shot blocker, but if we need points, McGee is the man for now.

tyrus should start this year but i highly doubt he starts next year. It will be lucious babb clyburn white and either booker or ejim

McGee probably won't start next either with Lucious and Clyburn playing. Babb will probably move to the 2 and Clyburn will play the 3. It really doesn't matter who starts. McGee has got that Jason Terry role down!

I haven't kept up with the thread, but McGee is the definition of a 6th man. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure he'd be as effective if he wasn't bringing the energy off the bench. Love how he understands, and accepts, his role. He has done it soooooo well.

damnit, looks like we're going to have to beat Kansas, Mizzou, or Baylor now if the results stay.
