Who cares if it isn't our secondary logo anymore, do you really want our current secondary logo on there

If we were to actually do a pro combat uni, I think if the helmet used any logo it shouldn't be one of our current ones (even walking cy blown up and tilted off-kilter on the helmet would look sweet). But personally, I still like the punching cy logo on there (especially with the updated color scheme without that stupid navy blue in there :yes

If we were to ever get a helmet like this I would want just a Cyclone on the side. No bird, no text. Matte red with a faded gold cyclone.

I freaking love this!

I'm also a big fan of the "Take Cover". Would love to walk into Kinnick next year and hear yells of "Take Cover" followed by "Cyclones!"

I went ahead and put a shiny tornado on a matte cardinal helmet and made an undershirt to go along with the sleeves that were on the jersey Jack Trice wore.

The jack trice throwback is the only acceptable alternate uniform that should be considered for ISU. There isnt nor will there ever be anything that compares to it.

As a forum we should make this our official uniform. All other uniform threads will now be obsolete. Those who chose to make threads about uniforms other than JTTB should be banned. There is no point to it, we have found our god.

I came to this page to make a snarky comment about how much attention a fan generated uniform was getting. Instead I say "that is flipping awesome". I think a bunch of people should print them out and bring them to the party tonight. Get them in front of the coaches in addition to Jamie.

And tonight is the perfect chance because you're going to a party about recruiting for a site called cyclone fanatic. So a little bit of over excitement will not look strange at all.

Holy. ****. I am one of those guys that thought, "Now that we have something classy and good looking, we should never change our uniforms again. This theard has completely changed my mind. These are awesome, have history, and would be completely unique. In fact, I would say forget throwbacks, make them out primary unis.

I'm done crying about the '76 unis. This "Jack Trice Inspired" Pro Combat uni is the pinnacle, dare I say...zenith of ISU football uniforms. For the good of the nation it must be done.

I personally kind of like the stripes on the shoulders. I understand that it may look a little busier, but I think its a clean way of blending the past with the present.

Additionally, I like the upgraded font with the numbers on the front . BAD ***.
