doesn't he want to get out of Compton?, that's why he originally committed to saint johns per an interview on YouTube. maybe just a few dozen blown up head shots and the occasional Norvel Pelle chant? and by occasional I mean every stoppage of play.
Pelle should ask Anthony Davis the SF that played for us with stinson and blalock how he liked ames. He was from Compton. Or ask Brackins how he liked ames and Hilton. He was from Palmdale Calif.
We would have recruits from NYC, Detroit, Boston and Compton. Love the fact that this staff can go anywhere and recruit.
Seems strange the #1 Center is only #23 overall. Regardless with RW and Pelle, Fred destroys the Big XII next year.
looks like the knock on this kid besides his academics is his lack of effort, lack of rebounding, and lack of offensive game. Best attributes appears to be his athleticism and ability to block shots.
well as long as royce is dishing dimes he won't have to do much for post moves royce will just put it right where it needs t be for an easy dunk, happens with royce to melvin/percy all the time
Exactly, except this kid is 6'10" and can jump/dunk out of the gym. He would be a tough match up with Royce on the court for sure.
The thing that excites me is that this is not going to be the last 5* kid that visits, this may become the norm guys, we will eventually sign a few of htem even if this kid doesnt work out.
I just left a comment on Cyclone Alley's website asking them (or telling them nicely) that some signs and a chant need to be organized to try and pull this guy in.

You can't compare Palmdale to Compton. Compton is South Central LA.....Palmdale is a much, much newer community out in the desert well north of LA, near Edwards Air Force base. The two communities are nothing alike.
Watched a Youtube video of him (not one CW linked) and Pelle shot his free throws right handed and then shot a jumper left handed. Interesting.
