Kid's looking at one school not on the coast. Doubt we get him. Probably just wants to try the famous clone clones.

Kids only looking at one school with a former NBA player and assistant GM as the head coach. Probably just wants to make sure the basketball is for real as well. Pretty sure he'll like what he sees.

I love our chances when he talks to the players on our team, and gets to talk to Fred in person. Fred is dreamy, and dreamy seals the deal.

7'0" c Matthew Willms (Leamington, ON/Findlay Prep) is down to 4 schools: UNLV, Long Beach State, Providence, & Marquette.

Pelle was close to committing to UNLV not long ago so these two may be intertwined. Would UNLV take both?

Let's hope there is a lot of truth to this rumor.

Reasons why Norvel should commit:

1. Fred is very connected to the NBA and knows what it takes to get there.
2. Fred plays an NBA style offense, which will help get his players ready for the next level
3. Fred has something very special brewing. He's picking up recruiting momentum and has clearly shown that he can coach and get his team to buy into his program.
4. Hilton
5. (Royce is not going anywhere)
6. When Royce stays, Pelle will be the beneficiary of Royce and Lucious driving to the hope and setting him up with dunks.

I think #6 is huge. Pelle will see how Royce, despite being our star player, does everything to get his teammates involved.
Pelle would be the recipient of many bunnies next year and could feast in the low post.
I like Ejim for his hard work and effort, but I think Pelle could be that much better at finishing around the basket.

Just thinking about it gives me chills.

(Also of note. I don't think Royce is going anywhere this year. If he leaves after this year he will probably end up in Europe or the D-League at best. He just doesn't shoot well enough yet.)

Hopefully Fred, the ISU team, Hilton and ISU stand out to Pelle and it won't matter what schools are recruiting other C prospects.

Who wouldn't want to play with Royce? Unless you have a short attention span and an aversion to getting hit in the side of the head by the basketball.

I have no idea about needs, scholarships, etc... for UNLV. Maybe they don't want to battle for PT at the same position. Maybe they want to play together. Like I said, I don't know.

I think on his visit, Royce will tell him that he will stay and play with him next year. Lucious will also help recruit by saying he will dish the rock to him errday

Yea, I haven't seen any games, but it sure looks like the MWC has been a great basketball conference this year between UNLV, SDSU, New Mexico, and even CSU. It's a shame that SDSU will be leaving due to the whole Big East thing. Once again conference re-alignment completely screws the Mountain West.

I hope you enjoyed your first look at Hilton Magic tonight, Mr. Pelle. How about committing before you leave town?
