Worthless classes for the most part, where if you have any type of prior business knowledge then you will skate through the class. Just my opinion after taking both classes.

Gotta love guys who have spent their whole lifetime behind the ivy covered walls and don't know the first thing about managing a business..........trying to teach college kids how to manage a business! The blind leading the blind!

Sadly, it's true. If you've never managed a business you probably don't realize how difficult it is to take "business theory" and translate it to "business real world".

That said, you still need to have an understanding of "business theory" to be successful, no matter how difficult it may be to transition the ideas into practice.

Marketing 340 with Tim Folger = Easy
Management 370 with Rick Smith = legitimately fun class. Tough to get an A, but he hands out Bs.

Another ridiculously easy business class is Accounting 384 with Diane Janvrin if you have a clue how to use a computer.

Avoid Chacko for Mgmt 370. Mkt 340 I took in the large class setting with Wong and was cake, just had to study and do well on test's. Going to class not too important.

Chako still around? I know there was a crap load of people in 2004ish that didn't get grades they expected and our adviser took some action.

Chako taught 370 in 1992 ...

After the first exam there was a near riot in Carver. About 40% of the class failed a multiple choice test.
