I honestly can't fathom wanting to play for Wisconsin unless you are athletically challenged. Seriously, if I was a player with any semblance of athletic ability I'd be embarrassed to even visit.

Of course, I hate Wisconsin basketball with a white hot passion so I may be biased.

It must be so fun to play defense....:twitcy:

I appreciate the fundamentals with which UW basketball teams typically master. They rebound, they play defense, and they don't typically turn over the ball much. Just as frustrating as it is to watch a team use all 35 seconds of the shot clock without exception, its also frustrating to watch a team throw the ball out-of-bounds 17 times a game.

That said, Ryan's system doesnt make scoring a big priority - they're perfectly happy to bore you to death (both opponents and fans), beat you up, and win by scoring 54. It's definitely not a system to showcase athleticism and elite talent. But it has "staying power". This year's team has been particularly boring as Taylor is the only player with consistent offensive game. Nevertheless, they lack no fan support - unlike Minnesota.

I'm in totally agree UW is boring basketball, and for these common recruits - our style of play is a stark contrast.

Most top teams play good D. However, when it's a struggle to get to 50 like it is for Wiscy, you had better focus on D.

Georges Niang had 13 of Tilton's 18 points in the first half, as they trailed by 11 to St. Mark's in the NEPSAC Class AA championship. They were never able to recover, losing 59-53 and ending their streak of 4-straight NEPSAC championships. Final stats are not yet available, but I'll be sure to post them on Twitter/Facebook and eventually here as soon as they are.

Also, still interesting in hearing comments regarding a new format for recruit profiles. Here is a preview of what they may look like: Recruit Lists » Pelle, Norvel
