Go to espn3 login use gpcboard as username and gpc4life as password. Choose a Internet provider, it will ask for email. Make one up or whatever. It should then say that you have access for 4 or so hours. If it doesn't work, idk. It worked all day for me and a billion k state fans

I really hope that my cable guide is wrong and the game is on MC22, my epsn3 says blacked out and can't get my watch epsn temporary access to work, MC 22 would be better than nothing, I'll be pretty angry if I can't watch this game.

Ah, it's the Mediacom Connections treatment. They start with a telecast in HD. At least, that's how it is on the monitor in their broadcast trailer. Then they point an old Betacam at that monitor ... rub some vaseline on the lens, just for good luck ... and run it through old, cracked RCA cables and regular phone wires to put it on Channel 22, for all your viewing pleasure!

At least you can watch something. I'm an ImOn cable subscriber in Cedar Rapids, the game isn't on any channel on my system. Ironically, I chose ImOn a few years back when Iowa State was playing in the Insight Bowl, because Mediacom wasn't carrying the NFL Network then and ImOn did.

Can anyone in the ESPN3 blackout area (Eastern Iowa) verify that the game is not blacked out on Directv 640? I will order the sports pack to get it but don't want to buy it to find out it is blacked out. I know from past experience that customer service won't be able to help me.

...although in waterloo my mediacom guide does not show our game being broadcast

Just noticed this as well yet they picked up every other except for the one on espn2. I will not be happy if that turns out to be true.

Currently, my channel 640 is blacked out for the early game tonight, so I am not banking on getting to watch it on Direct TV. It's off to Buffalo Wild Wings for me.

Thanks for the responses guys, turns out I have to update my package to a newer one in order to add the sports pack to it. Complete BS. I may have to get rid of Directv. Not sure where I am going to watch it now.

Dude I would recommend the sports package on DTV even if ISU didn't exist. It's a must have if you like sports.
