Directv with sport pack = almost never miss a game. You just have to decide how important it is to you. Not disagreeing that a local affiliate in CR should pick it up, though.
Ah, it's the Mediacom Connections treatment. They start with a telecast in HD. At least, that's how it is on the monitor in their broadcast trailer. Then they point an old Betacam at that monitor ... rub some vaseline on the lens, just for good luck ... and run it through old, cracked RCA cables and regular phone wires to put it on Channel 22, for all your viewing pleasure!
At least you can watch something. I'm an ImOn cable subscriber in Cedar Rapids, the game isn't on any channel on my system. Ironically, I chose ImOn a few years back when Iowa State was playing in the Insight Bowl, because Mediacom wasn't carrying the NFL Network then and ImOn did.
What is exactly is the Big XII Network and what good is it if it doesn't seem to have any affiliates.
Direct tv has been great, missed very little over the years. Watching the pregame in hd right now.
Dumb question, how much is the sports pack and can you add and remove it or did you include it in your contract?
Sounds an awful lot like LHN to me...What is exactly is the Big XII Network and what good is it if it doesn't seem to have any affiliates.

Exactly ... Big 12 Network is Regional ESPN coverage that gets picked up by local stations...hence why all the graphics/scoreboard look like ESPN with a different logo.Except it is not, at all.

Anybody have an idea why ESPN3 wont go full screen on this game? I hate technology.
