No arguing from UK fans. I just came over to wish you guys luck and to let you know you will have a ton of crowd support Thursday from the Big Blue Nation.

It doesn't matter 2 years from now any win you get in this years tournament will be vacated.

Theyre ****** because uconn beat them in Final Four last year. UK cant win a big game, as evidenced today.

Welcome to CYFan. I see you share the same negativity that has become a staple of our fanbase.

Question: What is the most active Husky board? I know that UK's is catspause.

More like the "Big Redneck Nation."

Kentucky basketball fans are appallingly arrogant and insulting.

The first cyclone poster had it right - a backhand compliment.

Here's to a good game. Take care!

I have to say, so far, UConn fans seem classier than Kentucky fans

Eh, most the other SEC fanbases I've been around are horrible. Not sure about Kentucky though...

It depends on UK. You come in after a loss.... bad idea. You come in and talk stupid then they will kill you but if you go there and make logic arguments and talk basketball you'd be fine.

UConn fan here.
Interacting with Kentucky fans is like cleaning clogged toilets - they're completely full of ------- and if you try to make them right, you end up getting crap all over yourself.

I'd much rather have you beat us and then beat Kentucky than have us beat you and then get beat by Kentucky.

On the other hand, I am cheering for Calipari to get to his second final four appearance, and then have it stand for a bit.

UConn this year has had many ups and downs. We run a 3 guard offense a lot, and our #1 guy off the bench, a point guard, was ineligible at the beginning of the year and then again for several games in the middle of the year. Coach himself missed a bunch of games. Point is, we have had horrible continuity all year. Further, we have the 8th youngest team in the country, and that shows.

Recently, however, we've been on a small roll. We finished with a couple of decent wins, and then lost to Syracuse by a bucket in a game we were up 10 or so in the 2nd half.

I think it comes down to this - make your 3s at a good pace and you'll probably beat us - we're horrible at defending the 3.
Don't make them, and you'll be in a dog fight.

And if you beat us, I want to be sworn in as a deputy Iowan to root against the slimeballs you'll face in round 2.

Good luck, congratulations on making the tourni, and I look forward to getting to know more about your team in the next few days (I know you shoot lights out, which means you're a bad matchup for us!).

I think it's as simple as this - hit your 3s and you beat us.

Honest post. Good luck in the tourney.

I'm not here to argue with Uconn fans. If i was id go to the Uconn board. I'm here to talk to my fellow cyclone fans about their upcoming matchup against Uconn. I am the one who introduced the "quiet please" sign at ISU games introduced towards the middle of the 2007-2008 season. The guy who holds it up now is a part of cyclone alley committee.

Don't know about the rest of it, but the quiet sign during free throws is not held up by a cyclone alley committee member
