15 Walker, Kemba...... 41-41 1543 37.6 316-739 .428 75-227 .330 258-315 .819 53

03 Lamb, Jeremy....... 41-40 1140 27.8 182-374 .487 46-125 .368 47-59 .797 50

Walker had almost as many MAKES as Lamb had ATTEMPTS last year. Kemba Walker was the definition of a one man team last year. I'm about half as worried about Lamb as I would be Walker. All I am saying is that I think the media is basically talking about UCONN like Kemba Walker, Rip Hamilton, Ray Allen, and Ben Gordon are still playing for them.

What does Walker's performance vs. Lamb's performance have to do with anything? You basically said "Lamb would be a better player this year if he hadn't played with Walker."

I hope we beat them so we can play a team with an active forum. The boneyard sucks, its like they all have jobs or something. The same guy posted 4 times in a row in the gameday thread. I give them a D+.

If you're looking for unbiased discussion today, or extra credit for UConn, this really isn't the day or the place.

I'm not here to rain on anyone's parade, every fan of every team should think their team will win, but I just thought that was an odd claim to make.

I agree with Chris W's preview of our game; we have to hit our shots. As Chris points out, we struggle at times to make shots on the road :

@ Texas: 14%
@ Baylor: 24%
@ Missouri: 29%

Well, the plan of staying up all night, sleeping all day backfired.

No problem bro. People around here are pretty amped today. We had a bad coaching hire which caused an tourney drought so that just makes it more intense.

You had a decent question. I think the point he was trying to make is that if Kemba Walker hadn't carried the team so much last year, that Lamb would be even better this year than he is. You guys probably would have been more consistent and wouldn't be a 9 seed this year.

Other folks here are a bit put off by the media treating UCONN like they are the same team they were last year, when in fact you guys had to work your tails off to make the tourney after a slow start.

Good luck tonight, but ISU needs the win abit more. You guys should share the NCAA Tourney wins more often instead of hogging them.

It's not just the media or UConn who think this is in the bag. In the Yahoo brackets, 70% of America is picking the Huskies. So, 70% of the brackets will take a hit by about 10:30 PM CDT tonight.

I'm thinking Percy, Booker, and Ejim are going to have to come up big defensively/rebounding. Royce will be Royce.

Nothing better than beating teams who think they have the game won before they step onto the court. Put'em in their place, shut'em up and send'em packing. Go Cyclones!!!
