True. However, Mizzwho wins that game 9 out of 10 times. No doubt about it.

MU didn't win the one that matters. They also nearly lost to ISU (a team without a true PG) twice for the same reason, despite having a much more experienced team.

The second MU game was sad. ISU was abusing MU inside and then got away from what was working...

Is it for sure that McKay is a 2013 player? I thought I read somewhere he might be 2012.

I would really like to see us go after a great shooter, like Scotty. I think we are going to be really athletic next year but we are going to really miss that spot up shooter that can take over the game.

I think we're recruiting a guy like that; Matt Thomas is his name I believe. Haven't heard much about him lately though

I am not fan of bringing two more senior to be players. What we need is one more senior to be and another solid fresh/soph transfer/Juco.

Bringing senior to be will create good team for next year, but will not get anything in return for the following year.

If I were Tyrus/Babb/Booker, I wouldn't be too happy if Fred started to bring in all those senior to be players and take their minutes away from them. Total motivation killer.

Good thing you aren't the coach.

I want to win next year. After next year, I will worry about 2013-2014. Bringing Lockett in will only make us better and will increase competition.

I frikkin love Freddy's WIN NOW mindset.

If we need some senior leadership after next year, I'm sure Fred will find another transfer who fits our system.

From what I'm hearing on this board, Lockett is ours.:jimlad:

I would love to see us land 1 or 2 transfers, who will sit out next year and be ready to go the following year, when we will be very inexperienced after graduating so many seniors. But, I think if you can land a player who can make an immediate impact (like Oriakhi or Lockett or a JC) you definitely have to consider that option also. You can never have too many good basketball players.

He's a 2013 guy we're recruiting.

I don't have a problem with one year guys. The season is so long and when we are good (or at least fun to watch), you get so engaged with a roster. Everyone loved Jake Anderson for 1 year. Everyone loved Royce White for one year. Fans will love Lucious and Clyburn for a year. Then we'll move on to the next roster when that time comes around.

Let's seal up Locket and Sanchez and go win the whole damn thing next year.

Didn't I read somewhere that Oriakhi is transferring to Rhode Island? Maybe Fred can change his mind but from what I have read he is leaning heavily toward URI.

Lockett would be a great get IMO...sign 'em up Freddie!
