I think I have the most posts actually about conference realignment in this thread...which puts me about 127th place behind the posting about post count people ;-)

I like this list and would only quibble a little with the order. Despite their current problems, Miami is a market that would be fabulous for recruits and TV money, they have a household name and their inclusion might help us land FSU and Clemson, so I'd move them higher. I'm probably one of the few that would actually accept ND for sports other than FB and BYU for football only so long as ND also entered into a 5-6 game scheduling alliance for football with the conference and did not share in the football tv contract money.

I agree with you that if FSU wants them to come along you say, "sounds good!" But if I had a chance to land any one above them, I'd take them first.

I also don't like the thought of football only or ND for non sports. I really don't think that adds any value unless its only temporary for ND Football to join.
