Not sure if this has been posted yet but I saw it on Twitter.

@Bushido247
Per Brian Ethridge. 10 teams have called Big XII to open dialogue. Seven of them coming from the ACC. One from Big East. One independent

Big East team is easy (Louisville). Man, I hope that independent is Notre Dame but BYU may be a possibility as well. As for the host of ACC teams, let 'em call. With this much interest, there are a lot of good things the Big 12 could do. Going to fourteen would be wise if there are four schools on the level of Florida State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Miami, Louisville, Georgia Tech...

Is it just me or does everyone over there think that their team is going to be the new top dog in the big 12? Or that, "The big 12 better add this team as my teams rival. The conference owes us that much."(WVU fan)

It is going around about how Miami will be a huge powerhouse team if they joined the big 12 with the best recruits.

Do their fans actually believe that? Is it because we are in the midwest and have some sort of modesty? To be clear the big 12 owes WVU nothing, as far as I am concerned we threw them a life preserver from that sinking ship that is the Big East.

I will concede Miami used to be great, but they will not come to the big 12 and be the premier team. I know it is message board banter but damn that is a whole new level of cockiness.

I don't see Miami. I barely see Florida state. For some reason Clemson, vt, are best fit - then Louisville and Maryland. But FSU is a great get - and great image. I'm not sure about GT though.

I have spent allot of time on the WVU board. I can tell you the 99.9% of them are very very grateful for the Big 12, and have a ton of pride in being with us.

Of the supposed 10 teams wanting into the Big 12
This is from last night:

Care to inform us? And is there any info behind your convictions that FSU, Clemson, and Miami are in?

It's the usual suspects. 6 ACC schools, Louisville, Notre Dame, BYU and.....wait for it............Pitt!!!! Haha! The nerve!

As far as those three, Brian seems pretty sure. Says the ACC deal really got them going. He hasn't been wrong yet. (Brian Ethridge, Baylor 247)

For those who don't want to wade through all the scout threads
