Last year I was pumped to see how they would incorporate the new video board into gameday and it exceeded expectations. Now this tunnel and the practice facility area will be my new gameday experience I cannot wait for this year! I am anxious to see how the team enters the field from the tunnel.

I'm not sure how many other stadiums have a real, underground tunnel. Yeah, this is gonna be sweet.

Until everyone figures out that it really comes out more along the side of the Jake than next to the field, and our stadium entrance is going to look a lot like the old sidewalk shuffle from the Danny Mac era. Seems like there are a lot of posters that think we are going to burst out of this thing in a cloud of smoke directly onto the field, and I really don't think that is going to mesh up well with the reality of it.

JP said the two teams will cross the field to their side. The sides stay the same, all that changes is the side the teams enter from.

Welcome to Cyclone Fanatic, where there are heated discussions about what color shoes the team should where, whether or not we should ever do white helmets, and hell there are even debates about the proper color of face mask. People will ***** about this, just wait.

It wouldn't make sense to keep our Jake entrance since the locker room is moving to the football facility. The tunnel is being built as a matter of logistics to get from the field to the locker room. And it is also being built within some constraints of the existing structures. A kick-*** field entrance is not the top priority they are considering in building this thing. I haven't seen any sort of link to Pollard saying how great of an entrance this would be. If anybody has a link or an email they could post on that, I would be interested to see it.

Did they say whether or not it will connect to the practice facility or if they will walk outside from the FOF to the tunnel to the field? The most recent rendering I saw (top down view) made it seem like it would be outside.
