Kid wants to go to Iowa State and people complain about offers and sources. Get a clue weaklings. Welcome to the Cyclone Nation Mr Homa and dont listen to 80% of the people here.
Who was complaining about his offers and sources?
I'm sure everybody here is happy to have him as a Cyclone, especially since CPR is running on E. :jimlad:

Nice! He's got the frame, that's for sure.

that fellow is a nice pick up for the clones. he has a nice frame of 6-5 and with some work in the weight room he will get up to 300 lbs. after a year of red shirting.
GO CPR AND GO CYCLONES!!!!!

at least we r stealing recruits from the wisconsin badgers. that is a plus..

It's getting very concerning with the lack of BCS offers our commits have. Yes, I realize a few may be under the radar, but we certainly can't expect all of our recruits to have their next best choice being a MAC school and turn out to be BCS caliber players!

He's ranked at his position so he's no slouch.

In Homa's case it's likely a case of timing and/or Wisconsin's recruiting class size. According to Rivals he's nationally ranked and ranked 6 in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is ELITE with regard to OL so maybe Jacob wasn't high enough on Wisconsin's board to get an offer...yet. I'm very happy with this commitment. Welcome Jacob Homa!

Yeah, I wish people on here would quit looking like idiots by saying we stole him from Wisconsin. Kinda hard to steal him from someone that hasn't even offered him.

This is a good recruit for ISU. He's the 59th best OT in the country and the 6th best overall recruit out of Wisconsin. This is considered a good recruit by ISU's standards. Let's face it, we don't beat out many big time teams for many recruits.

This is exactly the kind of player Rhoads needs to take and develop into a stud, which he has done with some guys already. I love the pickup! Welcome aboard Jacob!

Wisky offered a gray shirt to the #9 ranked OL (whose brother is on the team) instead

And somehow no other BCS caliber team extended him an offer? Not buying it. You can look at rankings all you want, I'll look at offers. I will take a non ranked 3 star with multiple offers from BCS schools over a ranked kid who only has offers from the MAC.

I'll take anyone that CPR offers this early.

Email Rhoads. Or Pollard. Let them know you don't approve.

Who else offered AK47? I want to beat UT and OU for recruits too but I'm satisfied that this is a guy we can build up.

Both offers and being noticed by recruiting services are positives to projecting a player to do well, but there are exceptions in both cases. Lack of either or both isn't a guarantee the player will be bad, but usually they don't get either of them on accident. Obviously, nothing is full proof.
