I also remember it being pretty windy that day. Overall it was a great game. I went to Lincoln the previously year and couldn't have asked for a better result and ball handling skills from the skers

And yes I said the previously. Lolz
You are rude, insensitive and not really very bright. BUT, you've got balls and I feel like we could use some more balls on this board. A big thumbs up to you, sir.

"...and not really very bright." Well said Einstein. However, you make valid points about the size of my gonads, and for that I thank you. I respect the spects and Horace as a person for that matter.

Why is it that Maggitt didn't get a medical redshirt last year? Didn't he get hurt in the first quarter against Iowa?

unfortunately humble and nice don't make ya a good football player. i don't think maggitt is that good of a DE. was hoping to see if he had progressed last year but then he got hurt. hope he has improved this year... oh, and his brother started as a true freshman last year and had a great season! wish we would have landed him

Well he probably won't be an all-conference player, but he is a nice DE to have in the rotation

This is how I understand it.

If you've already used a redshirt year, which he had, you can't get a medical redshirt.
You can however petition for a 6th year of eligibility though you might not get it.

Med redshirts are for guys who haven't redshirted and only played a limited amount in a year due to injury. Then that year just counts as their redshirt year. Like Money when he broke his leg. He had never redshirted and only played a little that year. The season he was injured just counted as his RS year.

I think Roosevelt may be able to petition but can't until after this season. Does that sound right?

I think that's how it works. For a Medical Hardship wiaver you have to have exhausted your eligibility before you can try for the 6th year.

I think it's easier to get if you are injured during your RS Senior year but I know others have gotten a 6th year as well.

I believe he lives in my apartment complex. He has a pit bull.... aka I stay the **** away from him. I am sure he is a nice guy, whenever I drive by him while he is walking his dog he is always smiling.

Dog really enjoys the walk, eh? :jimlad:

Not exactly. I do know that one reason CPR might be willing to hold Dika out this season (if necessary) was that if Shaban misses TWO full seasons, he'd eventually be able to petition for a sixth year of eligibility (which is not a med redshirt). Coach Rhoads stated that explicitly in one video last Spring.
