If Jantz starts he throws three picks, we miss two FGs, but make one in 4th to seal a 24-23 win.

If Barnett starts we run the ball with authority, the defense claims a couple turnovers and we win 31-17.

I think our defense will play well and the offense struggles at times.

ISU wins 23-6

I wont give a score prediction because that always screws us.

I will say, realistically, that it should be a close game. Either tied or up by 3 or 4 at half. ISU's depth shines through in the second half and they go into the 4th quarter up by two scores. Tulsa makes a late desperation charge but still loses by a touchdown.

Uncomfortably close, but we grind out a win.
In the week that follows, we see here:
1) A raging, anger-and -passion filled debate over the QB.
2) 5 or 6 predictions that we will not win another game.
3) Several "who cares, we won the game" posts.
4) Some in-depth reviews of consistency and inconsistency from the past few years.
5) 8 million new trolls for rivalry week. At least half of them will question whether our close win damages Iowa's SOS.

By Wednesday, we'll hardly know that the game happened, because the rivalry will be in full swing. Then we beat the Hawks.

All the more hope that we win big so we only have to endure threads about Man of Steele shirts and Iowa Sucks.

Time to start back up the trollercoaster? :jimlad:

Oh yes, I bet they are reading our Tulsa threads after it being released that we are the dogs.
