Very nice. Are you actually going to use it?
This reel is from Ardent and is very functional. My company does some business with them and they are great people. The owner is a Mizzou grad, (don't hold that against him) but they do make great products. As for baitcasting reels; my understanding is this one is pretty forgiving; but baitcasting reels in general take some getting use to. For certain baits they can't be beat. If anyone is looking for a very forgiving entry level baitcasting reel the Bass Pro, Pro-Qualifier can't be beat. My kids can throw that all day with no back lash issues, even with some lighter weights.pretty nice, if you can fish with a bait cast reel. I got sick of all the rats nests that I got when casting........Spinning is the only reel for me

Very nice! I need one of those. For accuracy, baitcasters can't be beat. It's all about adjusting the brake for the weight of the lure, and feathering and stopping with your thumb.
It seems as though it has a pretty solid "flipper" switch, so I'm pretty sure it'll be a decent casting reel when I want to use it that way. I don't do much casting, but I really like the cranking power of bait casting reels for fast trolling with crank baits and that's how I'll employ this one!
Thats awesome
I think that would look good hanging on the wall![]()
