First off, the visit isn't scheduled yet that I am aware of. Still is a 'may visit'.

As for Promise Academy, they had their first prep basketball season last year and did quite well. They have quite a few from the Chicago area that are prepping and just last year along had 2 of their players go on to BCS programs, one being at UNI I believe. Interesting that he is coming all the way to Iowa to prep, Galan's offers thus far are Iowa State and St. John's with SMU showing interest as the NY Post article includes.

2013 SF Reggie Cameron will take an unofficial visit to Georgetown on August 22, then is expected to trim his list. As reported before, he looks to cut his list before the end of August.

We've offered him, but were one of the last ones to do so. Other than our initial offer there hasn't been much between Iowa State and Cameron, however I was told that he was wide open earlier this month.

Just as an FYI, Terrence Samuel has a final five courtesy NYPost's Brazille: Tennessee, Rhode Island, UConn, Pittsburgh & Temple. It is likely that the Cyclones were no longer interested with the commitments of Morris and Thomas.

High five to our coaching staff for cultivating their Brewster academy relationships over the past few years. I love how close their coaches are with our staff, particularly Otz, and obviously, it has the potential to continue to reap some super big benefits for us in the future. If we could even get one or two of those guys from there, I'd be stoked.

Agreed, Fred can handle recruiting the Minnesota talent from Ames. Though the program may need to add a apartment lease for Coach Mann in Michigan.
