I can't believe we have to wait a year for this.

It will be interesting to see if Hank can ever tie anything back to Walt. One of those things where he knows damn well its Walt, but until he catches him cooking, he can't prove anything.

What if he finds the storage unit with the money? Although I'm not sure if that alone would be enough. I'm no law expert. But he could also get Skyler to flip on Walt.

Walt v. Hank should be good. Very disappointed we have to wait a year. I can't believe that Walt actually quit and went back to his normal life, and that Skylar actually allowed that to happen. That pile of money they had was amazing. I guess when you aren't splitting it up as much and don't have legacy costs, you really make some $$.

I thought we would get an answer to what exactly was happening in that opening scene from this year, but I guess we'll have to wait until next season for that as well.

Did they give any clues how much time passed during the Crystal Blue Persuasion montage when he was accumulating all that money? I'm guessing it was at least 4-5 months.

I thought it was 3 months. I can't remember if they referenced the time that had elapsed or if I just made that up.

Yeah, 3 months. Skylar and Marie reference it when they are talking.

I still kinda expect Walt Jr. to get caught doing Meth. Maybe from his Lewis friend. And it will be interesting to see what they do with Jesse. Right now his story is done unless he gets pulled back in.

I vaguely remember it, wasn't too long ago. I think Hank found them in Gale's notebook.

Yea, I thought Hank had case files sent to his house and was going over Gale's notebook with Walt. I think Walt later told Hank WW stood for Walt Whitman because there was a Whitman quote earlier in the notebook.

Just watched the end of part one... Wow. Incredible writing in this show. How huge is the first episode now with Walt buying the gun. Between that and Schroeder seemingly figuring it out, there is a lot to wonder about until next summer...

It'll be interesting to see how it goes. In the last episode, the writers laid a foundation that would allow WW to either return to being the protagonist or continue being the antagonist. It can be written either way (did he really quit?) or (did he remember the reason he started was for his family?).

My guess is that the last half season is going to expose Walt to the other side of the meth business, the users. I believe WW Jr. will likely overdose on WW's meth, and WW will finally realize what he sacrificed for the money he amassed. I think he'll work to stop the production (todd and uncle have likely taken over the operation) while schroeder attempts to catch him. It'll be a race to make things right before he gets caught, and before he dies. I expect him to come clean with Schroeder at some point near the end, and Schroeder to walk away at Walt's insistence (maybe to let him die) for his family. Jesse's role will be interesting as I have no idea how it'll play. He could be killed, forced back into cooking somehow to protect his ex, or walk away bittersweet at the end since he seemingly had the only conscience for awhile.

I'm sure I won't get any of this right as the writing has really been spectacular and mostly unpredictable episode to episode. That being said, I think the writers achieved exactly what they were hoping for as they've got me thinking about what's next...

At the end, when Hank and Walt are taking about WW, when did that occur and what was that about? I don't remember when that came up in previous episodes.

Here you go
