OSU's defense is worse then TCU's. ISU's offense will look better when it goes up against bad defenses. ISU's offense tied for most points put up on KSU, and put up by far the most points of any team against TCU.

Well the nice thing is we have played ok against the toughest defenses in the Big 12, the opponent defenses (outside of OU) are on a steady decline from here on out with the worst in the country yet to come. I can almost promise our offense will like night and day different from here on out.

I'm not saying TTU isn't good. We beat them the last two years....I'm sure they wanted to win this year pretty bad because of that also.
Right now, for some odd reason, I like our chances on the road more than I do at Jack Trice. I feel like (especially this past weekend vs. K-State) that when it gets crazy loud, our defense can't come through, yet on the road they make some huge plays and get some big stops (like the TCU game).

Hopefully we decide to show up Saturday. And hopefully the playcalling will improve, or else it could get ugly for us. Iowa State has a heck of a defense and we couldn't do anything against Kansas...dear lord. Granted that was during terrible weather.

I heard OSU has a load of injuries, who are the players and are they in or out for Saturday?
Yeah... Lunt (the true starter) has been out since Lala, Tracy Moore got dinged up against Kansas, as did Isaiah Anderson (another receiver). Jeremy Smith has been injured since Texas I think. Several young guys on defense have been dinged up. Alex Elkins had a concussion ( I think) against Arizona and still racked up 15 tackles. He missed the Lala game, but has been back since. Starting LB Caleb Lavey looked like he got injured against Kansas, not sure how bad. Backup corner Devin Hedgepeth was injured against Lala.
There are probably more than that. But that is what I have seen watching the games.
If Walsh is still our QB I don't see us scoring that much. And that is not meant to bash Walsh (okay maybe a little bit). He just isn't as good as Lunt is.

Not a problem.
I bet Tracy Moore, Anderson, Elkins will play. I'm not sure on Lavey but he had to have help to walk off the field. I hope he returns. Hedgepeth's career is probably over.
I would prefer it if Lunt were back for this game. It has been him and Walsh as co-starters since the Texas game, so hopefully he is cleared to play for this game. However I wouldn't be surprised if he is kept off the field yet another week.
LOL. The "revenge" angle doesn't work then. Texas Tech had the score from the 2010 game in their athletic facility and then lost in 2011. If revenge worked they would have beat us last year since the teams were pretty even.
Tech was just the better team this year.
