This class may suck compared to the upper tier B12, but it is significantly better than anything I can remember over the last 4 or 5 years. It is a move up. If Chizik can steal a victory or two next year and get us to .500, he will continue to attract better recruits. It ain't gonna happen overnight, but I am really encouraged by the way things are going right now. The big reason we don't look better compared to the rest of the big 12 is that the lower tier had tremendous success last year, and consequently, their recruiting has picked up. The next few years in the big 12 are going to be really tough, with BCS caliber teams in the top 4 or 5 positions, in my estimation.
